5th and 6th Grade Lady Redskins Basketball tipped off last night! Both levels played excellent games vs Tri-County. The Lady Redskins are back in action at home again this evening vs Mattoon starting at 6 PM in the SES Gym! Be sure to come check out a game or two this year if you get a chance! 5/6 Boys Basketball first day of tryouts/practice will be next Tuesday, October 8th from 6 - 7:30 AM in the SES gym. The information sheet that was sent home at the interest meeting had a typo on it and the first date is actually Tuesday, October 8th - not Monday. Reminder that players must have an up to date physical on file in order to participate. Go Redskins!

Big shoutout to our SMS XC team who had an incredible showing at the JHOC conference meet @ Tri-County this evening! The boys placed first overall and the girls placed second overall as a team! Special congratulations to Easton Wickline who placed 2nd overall in the boys race and Aaliyah Osborn who placed 2nd overall along with Harley Alms who placed 5th overall in the girls race! Way to go Redskins! #OneTribe

Good luck to our SMS XC team who competes this afternoon in the JHOC Conference Meet hosted by Tri-County @ Walnut Point State Park! Girls race begins at 4:00 PM and Boys race will follow at approximately 4:30 PM. **Parking will be in the Shady Bay Parking Area which is back by the concession stand (which is closed due to a fire) and camping area.** Go Redskins! #OneTribe

SMS Baseball falls in the Regional Championship in a tough battle to Teutopolis. Congratulations Redskins on a great season! There is a lot to be proud of and the future is bright for Redskins Baseball! 3 Straight Regional Championship appearances. Congrats again boys!

Both the SMS boys and girls cross country teams took home first place at the CGB Invitational, with the girls scoring 25 points and the boys 33 points!  Amazing performances from everyone on the team! Special congratulations to our medalists:     •    Aaliyah Osborn – 1st place     •    Harley Alms – 3rd place     •    Libby Wall – 5th place     •    Bryson Hill – 5th place

Schedule Update (9/28): SMS Baseball Regional Championship game @ Teutopolis is still ON for tomorrow morning @ 10 AM @ Teutopolis MS. The plan is for the semi-final game between Shelbyville and Teutopolis that had suspended play yesterday to resume at the top of the 10th starting at 9 AM. Winner of that game will play Sullivan @ 10 AM. Good luck boys! Go Redskins! #OneTribe

In a 10 inning thriller, Sullivan Baseball walks it off to advance to the Regional Championship game! 5-4 final vs Stew-Stras. Sullivan will play Saturday (9/28) morning @ 10 AM @ Teutopolis JH vs the winner of Teutopolis vs Shelbyville (to be played tomorrow afternoon). Way to go fellas! Go Redskins! #OneTribe

SMS Lady Redskins Basketball is back in action this evening for their 24-25 season! The Lady Redskins will take on Charleston MS in a 7th Grade Game only this evening at the SES Gym starting at 6 PM.
