
Children’s author Anitra Rowe Schulte visited SES classrooms January 4th and 6th to share her book “Dancing with Daddy”. Students enjoyed getting to know the character Elsie and learning about the process of creating and publishing stories.

This is a reminder for SES students…playing in the snow at recess is a lot of fun, but this can only happen if you bring snow pants, snow boots, a coat, and gloves to school. ❄️

First grade’s FIRST MIND club member !


After learning all about astronauts, Mrs. Becker’s class was excited to try space ice cream and eat like astronauts!


This is a reminder that at halftime of the JV Boys Basketball game tomorrow 1/25, the Nets will play the Warriors in Future Redskin competition. The JV game starts at 6:00 PM and team members should report to the Northwest corner of they gym when there is 3:00 minutes left in the 2nd quarter of the JV game.

To practice regrouping, Mrs. Becker’s class used marshmallows and pretzel sticks as ones blocks and tens sticks !


Special Olympics Basketball Skills 2022
It takes a team to prepare and participate in Special Olympics. These athletes brought home 6 gold medals and 1 silver. The best part was seeing the joy on their faces! Great job kids!





As a result of showing kindness at SES, Keegan Hughes as flag runner for the SHS Varsity team!!
