SES is celebrating Read Across America this week with dress-up days. Monday - Pajama Day; Tuesday - Wear Red or Blue Day; Wednesday - Wacky Day (wear clothes backwards, inside out or mismatched; Thursday - Silly or Mismatched Socks; Friday - Favorite Hat Day


Mrs. Grohler's students enjoyed finishing their pizza unit with serving the elementary school staff pizza. They learned to be Kind and serve others first. They took pizza orders, read a recipe, made the pizzas, and delivered them to the customers. After their hard work they enjoyed eating their own English Muffin Pizza!





In preparation for 1st grade’s 120 Day, Mrs. Becker’s class used 120 Lego to make their own creations !


Due to the weather today and additional events on Saturday, the Future Redskins championship game between the Nets and the Warriors has been rescheduled to Tuesday March 1st from 6:00 to 6:45 PM in the SHS gym. Teams should arrive 15 minutes prior to game time.

Some first grade twin day fun !


Tomorrow is a unique day 2/22/22, and in celebration the students and staff of SES will have TWIN Day! Find a friend or sibling and dress alike for the day.

Mrs. Becker’s class loved using candy hearts to help learn about graphing!


SES students and families…Mrs. Graham and I truly enjoyed all the snowman posts during our big snow! There were so many wonderful creations, we wanted to share them.





Ms. Davis and Mrs. Grohler's students finished their Super Hero unit off with lots of thematic Super Hero activities involving fine and gross motor activities at Building 1225. Thanks to the family of Nicholas Carroll for providing the funds for this day.





Just a reminder to parents...students will not be in attendance on Friday, February 11th due to a School Improvement Day for teachers. Sullivan Schools will observe Lincoln's birthday on Monday, February 14th, and will not be in attendance. We will welcome students back on Tuesday, February 15th!!

In honor of learning about the planet Mars, first grade students wore red and used Mars dust on their writing page !
