Mrs. Becker’s class had an amazing time at the Decatur’s Children’s Museum! They were able to go write a grant and take a trip to the museum where they painted without brushes and explored all the fun things the museum had to offer!
Our students at SES continue to show kindness!
These students were caught displaying random acts of kindness.
Last week, Mrs. Becker’s class worked hard to make a sound garden. Students found flower petals with matching blend sounds.
In honor of the first day of April, Mrs. Becker’s class drew and painted a spring picture!
We studied for our vocabulary test by drawing posters of each word and presenting them to the class. It was so fun seeing them work together in groups and presenting their posters together!

April 2nd: K-1st grade 8:00-9:00am @ SES / 2nd-3rd grade 9:00-10:00am @ SES
April 9th: K-1st grade 8:00-9:00am @ SES / 2nd-3rd grade 9:00-10:00am @ SES
Thanks to Ag in the Classroom, Mrs. Becker’s class made their own “bean” babies! They will be able to watch up close their soy bean grow !

Monday's menu choices will be:
Chicken Patty on Bun or
Italian Dunker with sauce
We can’t wait to see you at family reading night tonight. From 6 to 7 bring the whole family to enjoy lots of different activities to get us excited about reading!
To wrap up the space unit, first grade was excited to watch a rocket launch! The rockets were built and shot off by Coach Van Pelt’s class!
