Lady Redskins 7th grade team falls to Mattoon Middle School. The Lady Redskins 8th grade team defeated the Mattoon Middle School team 34 - 14.

Football, Football Cheerleading, and Marching Band/Color Guard Senior Night will be on Friday October 8th. Senior participants and their parents/guardians in Football, Football Cheerleading, and Marching Band/Color Guard will be honored before the football game. Those senior participants and their parents/guardians will need to meet on the south end of the track near the scoreboard at 6:20 PM. Recognition will then begin no later than 6:25 PM.
Senior Day for SHS Cross Country is on Tuesday October 5th at Tabor Park at 4:30 PM. Coach Graham will begin recognizing the senior cross country members and their parents/guardians at 4:15 PM at the pavilion over in Tabor Park prior to the meet beginning at 4:30 PM.

SCHEDULE UPDATE:
SOV JV Football will be hosting Watseka High School in a JV Football game on Friday 10/8 at 7:00 PM at Victory Field as a part of Sullivan's Homecoming. In addition to this, Senior Night for SOV Football, SOV Football Cheer, and SHS Marching Band/Color Guard will also be held on Friday 10/8 prior to the start of the football game. Additional details for this will be shared out as we get closer to the date.
Due to the weather, the CIC Golf Tournament has been postponed today to Thursday 9/23 at 10:00 AM at Moweaqua Golf Course.

CONGRATS to the Sullivan FFA Varsity Horse Judging team who placed 6th at the SIUC Invitational out of 38 teams.
Mallory Batman placed 12th as an individual, and Ben Bushue placed 21st out of 150 varsity participants. So proud of this group for doing an awesome job at their first in-person competition!

SHS Boys and Girls Golf Senior Day will be held this Thursday September 9th prior to the beginning of the golf team's matches with Meridian, Okaw Valley, and Shelbyville schools. Senior golfers and their parents/guardians need to meet Coach Richter at the Sullivan Country Club pro shop no later than 3:40 PM as senior recognition ceremonies will begin at 3:45 PM.
