The SHS JV Girls Basketball game against Shelbyville tonight at 6:00 PM will be a condensed game consisting of 2 10-minute halves. Because of this, the anticipated start time of the SHS Varsity Girls Basketball game will be 7:00 PM.
The SHS Freshman Boys Basketball game tonight against Tuscola at 6:00 PM in the SES gym will be one game only. There will be no sophomore game played as originally scheduled.
The Sullivan Sports Boosters are selling raffle tickets to win a destination vacation with all the funds raised going towards the Sullivan Sports Boosters. Sports Booster members will be selling these tickets at all upcoming home athletic events between November 22nd and December 13th. Each ticket costs $25.00 and you must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket and be eligible to claim the prize. Due to technical difficulties, tickets are no longer able to be purchased online at this time so please disregard the QR code that was sent out previously. An information flyer with details about the raffle is attached to this email. Tonight's SHS Varsity Girls Basketball game in the Maroa-Forsyth Tip-Off Classic vs. LSA will be livestreamed on YouTube at Maroa-Forsyth Trojans TV starting at 6:00 PM.

All parents and community members are invited to attend. Please enter through the HS entrance on Main Street. Students should wear Patriotic clothing to school on Thursday.
Sixteen of our Sullivan FFA members had the privilege of attending the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo this past week in Indianapolis.
Our members enjoyed the opportunity to bond as a chapter, as well as interact with over 55,000 FFA members from around the nation who safely gathered together this week.
Students attended general sessions at Lucas Oil Stadium, had the opportunity to network with colleges & major agribusinesses in the expo, participated in workshops, went on a behind the scenes tour of the Indy Motor Speedway’s golf course, attended the annual rodeo at Indiana State Fairgrounds and much more!
Many memories were made and Sullivan FFA was certainly well represented by our young leaders.
Lake Land College Financial Aid staff will be here to host a Financial Aid Night tonight at 5:30 PM in the Commons. Options for paying for college beyond federal financial aid will also be discussed. All college bound seniors and their guardians should plan to attend this event.
Parents...Just a reminder of TWO early dismissal days next week. Tuesday, October 26th and Thursday, October 28th are Parent/Teacher Conferences. SES will dismiss at 2:20 p.m. and SMS/SHS will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. If you have not signed up for a conference with your child's teacher, please contact the teacher and get one on the books. ALSO...Sullivan Schools will NOT be in session on Friday, October 29th.
Thirteen Introduction to Agriculture students applied to receive their own blue jacket as a generous gift from our Sullivan FFA Alumni.
These jackets are delivered with purpose, as gifts from alums who know the potential of where these jackets can take our young leaders. Before they were given out, upperclassmen leaders in our agriculture program wrote individual notes of encouragement to tuck into the jackets.
Many of these jackets will be proudly worn NEXT week at National FFA Convention!
Two of our FFA teams had a successful evening last night as we hosted “Super Wednesday” at SHS.
Ag Sales finished 3rd in our section contest with Brett Bushue placing as a high individual!
Greenhand Quiz Bowl placed 5th in our section.
We also had Del Diepholz, John Voyles, & Gareth Coffer exhibit in our Section 16 Grain Fair.
Most importantly, many of our members put in a late evening of work in order to be great hosts for four simultaneous Section 16 FFA events here at SHS. We’re so proud of our competitors and our chapter as a whole for showing up & showcasing great leadership!
