SMS Cross Country continues to have quite the season. The competes at the Shelbyville Invitational this past weekend, bringing home some hardware. Boys finished in 2nd place, only trailing behind Charleston by three points. The girls also finished in 2nd, coming in behind Shelbyville.
They, then, added another first place finish Monday at Clinton for both boys and girls.

SMS Cross Country had a successful night at the Bulldog Invitational in Bement! Both boys’ and girls’ teams took first place! Each team also had three top five medalists.

Due to weather, the SMS softball game at Unity and the SMS Baseball game at home vs. Argenta Oreana for today 8/26 have been postponed. Makeup date is TBD.

SMS baseball kicked off their season on the road at Maroa-Forsyth. The A team was defeated while the B team pulled off a close one, winning 3-2.
The softball girls finished the day 1-1, as well. The dropped the first game to St. Anthony, then bounced back to beat Altamont 14-4.
