The 8th Grade Lady Redskins defeat Maroa-Forsyth tonight, 27-16, to advance to the Class 3A IESA Regional Championship game Thursday night, against Pana, in Macon at Meridian Middle School. Tip off is at 6 p.m. Congratulations ladies! #onetribe
The Sullivan Sports Boosters are selling raffle tickets to win a destination vacation with all the funds raised going towards the Sullivan Sports Boosters. Sports Booster members will be selling these tickets at all upcoming home athletic events between November 22nd and December 13th. Each ticket costs $25.00 and you must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket and be eligible to claim the prize. Due to technical difficulties, tickets are no longer able to be purchased online at this time so please disregard the QR code that was sent out previously. An information flyer with details about the raffle is attached to this email. SMS Debate Club members participated in a team-building activity at their first meeting today. Students were tasked with constructing a free standing tower out of spaghetti noodles, tape, and marshmallows. Things got a little messy, but the finished products were totally worth it! Check them out!

Mrs. Bushue's Language classes spent the week reading the book “ If You Find A Rock” by Peggy Christian. On Wednesday, students brought in rocks, wrote encouraging messages on them and went and hid them around Wyman Park. We are #OneTribe
SMS held the 1st quarter Breakfast of Champions on Thursday, October 21st. Staff nominated students for their accomplishments in, and out of, the classroom. Students recognized were Riane Bear, Kate Bushue, Brooklyn Davis, Emma Drake, Alex Fultz, Jett Kinder, Daisy Richardson, Melissa Ross, Easton Wickline, Miracle Wilson and Ronin Woods.

SMS Cross Country competed at St. Joe this morning in the IESA sectional meet. Our girls team placed 8th and our boys team placed 5th. Teams needed to be in the top 3 to advance to state. We are proud of both teams on their season!
