Congratulations to Mrs. Stinebring's 3rd period sophomore classing for winning the annual NEHS English Week Trivia. It was a close, but they held the lead most of the week and came out victorious. They enjoyed cookies as their snack of choice 🍪
The student council hosted their end of the year cookout to say thank you to the outgoing seniors and a welcome to the incoming freshman. Also, the turnover of officers took place to the 23-24 executive board.
HS Baseball - there will be a JV baseball round robin this Saturday at home - our boys play at 10:00 and 2:00, come out and check out our younger players take the field!
Senior Sunset will happen rain or shine this Friday starting at 7pm! We will communicate with all seniors via email and the district FB page the morning of to confirm the location based on weather. 🌅

Parents and community members are welcome to attend; reserved seating will be on the north side of the gym closest to the stage.

The SHS Student Council was represented on the Illinois Association of Student Councils executive board this past year by Senior Carter Addison who served as Membership Director. For the 23-24 school year SHS will have two executive officers. Junior Daniel Downs was elected Public Relations Director and Sophomore Addison Brush was installed as Convention Secretary as SHS will be the official host of the 2024 IASC state convention.
