Due to projected weather conditions this afternoon and evening, the CIC Girls Conference Track Meet scheduled for today at Sullivan High School has been postponed to Friday 5/28 at 4:30 PM.

Sullivan High School is still in need of volunteers to help at the Central Illinois Girls Conference Track Meet that we are hosting on Thursday May 27th starting at 4:30 PM. In the event the meet gets postponed due to weather, it will be made up on Friday May 28th starting at 4:30 PM. The SHS Varsity Baseball Game postponed yesterday 5/25 against Meridian High School will be made up tonight 5/26 at 6:30 PM at Lane Field in Wyman Park. This contest will follow the originally scheduled SHS Varsity Baseball game against Dieterich at 4:30 PM. No JV innings will be played.

Lady Redskins defeat Warrensburg Latham 5-2 in game one of a varsity softball doubleheader; game two will start in around 20 minutes

The SHS Softball game scheduled for today 5/18 at Shelbyville has been postponed due to the weather. The game will be made up on Saturday 5/29 at Forest Park in Shelbyville starting at 10:00 AM. The SHS Softball game originally scheduled at Stewardson-Strasburg on 5/29 has been cancelled.

The SHS Baseball games scheduled for today 5/18 at Shelbyville have been postponed due to the weather. They will now be played on Saturday 5/29 at Shelbyville starting at 10:00 AM with the varsity game and a full JV game to follow at 11:30 AM. The SHS Varsity and JV Baseball games originally scheduled on 5/29 at Paris High School have been cancelled.

The SHS Varsity Baseball game at Tuscola originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed and will now be played on Saturday 5/22/21 starting at 10:00 AM at Ervin Park in Tuscola. JV innings will follow the varsity contest. The original SHS Varsity and JV Baseball games scheduled for Saturday 5/22/21 at home against Altamont have now been cancelled.

The SHS Varsity Boys Baseball game scheduled for today 5/17 at Tuscola has been postponed due to the weather and field conditions. Makeup date is TBD.

The SHS Varsity Baseball games today against St. Teresa will be played at Sunnyside Park in Decatur located at 1590 North Sunnyside Road in Decatur starting at 10:00 AM.

This summer, Sullivan Schools will continue to provide FREE meals to anyone 18 and under in our area. We plan to deliver door-to-door to ANYONE who would like to receive meals. This will occur one day per week with 7 days of meals per child. Please complete the following form by 5pm on May 20th in order to allow for appropriate ordering of food and arrangement of delivery schedule. Everyone receiving meals will be contacted during the last week of May to communicate your expected delivery date and time. We encourage ALL students to take advantage of this free program. Juniors Joann Mathias and Ryan Villalobos were the recipients of this year's Redskin Achievement Award! This award, which was created and is funded by the Sullivan High School Class of 1968, is intended to help deserving students with their extracurricular costs. Candidates are nominated by teachers then chosen by a committee from the Class of 1968 based on the following qualities: practices good discipline, keeps focus on goals, maintains healthy relationships with peers and adults, displays positive participation, shows sharp observation, asks the right questions, desires to learn through doing, respects society and culture, takes responsibility, and uses effective communication skills. This year's awards were presented by Paula Flannell, Charlie Landers, Bill Standerfer, and Louann Soper (not pictured). Thank you Class of 1968 and congratulations to the recipients!
