Some students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade have been participating in Little Future Redskins League on Saturday mornings! The Middle School Girls' Basketball team have been great leaders as they teach the basic fundamentals to these students!

8th Grade & Accelerated 7th Grade Math paired up to practice "talking math".They had to describe the card they were given and their partner had to sketch a picture based on the description given.
Everyday, without prompting, middle school students Madison Hopper and Sidney Williamson raise and lower the flag. Today, they showed up in the office to take it down because they noticed it had started to rain. Huge kudos to these two young people!
Students in Mr. Rogers science class are busy finishing up their at home trial videos for their egg drop projects. Drop day is Thursday and Friday!!
Mrs. Wright's 6th grade math students are using their iPads to scan QR codes to take them to websites with information on roller coasters. They're researching the height, length, speed, duration and number of inversions of each coaster. They are then calculating the mean, median, mode and range for each data set.
Mrs. Standerfer's class is studying the development of early civilizations. Students are integrating technology and applying their learning to create anchor charts.
Sullivan Middle School is participating in a canned food drive in conjunction with the National Day of Service on September 11th. The class that brings the most canned goods will get to be first through the lunch line on Fridays for four straight weeks, and if SMS brings in more items than SHS, they will get free cookies at lunch on a designated date in the near future.
