5th grade Engineers on their first day of 2nd trimester Engineering.
At Sullivan Middle School, we embrace the acronym, TRIBE. Each letter stands for Trustworthy, Respectful, Improving, Brave, and Engaged. Recently, students discussed improving, which focuses on being the best version of ourselves for our school and community. With November being the month of gratitude and giving, students brainstormed organizations in the community that could benefit from our help through donations or service projects. After an extensive list and school wide vote, Sullivan Middle School students voted to collect items for Moultrie County PAWS. Attached is a flyer with items requested by Moultrie County PAWS. Donated items can be dropped off in the SMS office.
Location Change UPDATED (11/10): Both games tomorrow (11/10) are to be played at their originally scheduled venues. The 5/6 Girls basketball game will be played at the SMS Gym @ 6 PM. The 7/8 Girls Basketball game will be played at the SES Gym @ 6 PM.

🥘 🛻 Food Truck Project Feast 🛻 🍱
Students in 6th grade STEM class have been working as entrepreneurs on a Food Truck Project. Students had to design their own food truck, come up with a business plan, a menu, logo, slogans, advertisements, etc. Check out some samples of parts of their projects!
Today, they were able to bring in a sample item from their menu to share with their classmates. Let’s just say, we may not need to eat lunch!
Each year, their ideas amaze me! I am proud of these students and all their hard work! -Ms. Heddins

SMS Dress Up Days
Mrs. Ray, Mrs. Dickens, Mrs. Miller, and Mr. Webb enjoyed a tour of the recently expanded Moultrie County History Center today! Through our partnership with the folks at the History Center, Sullivan Schools will be able to share with our students an in-depth look at the history of the place we all call home!
The Center will feature unique permanent and rotating exhibits and research opportunities that will bring to life the local history of topics students are learning about in the classroom, including: Native American history, agricultural history, the history of education, war, law, literature, and the arts!
Stay tuned for more as the Center continues to prepare their facility for our students and community!
