Congratulations to Cooper Christensen and Aian Fryman for being selected to play in the Illinois Shrine Game this summer! They will be playing on opposite teams as Cooper will be on the Red squad, and Aian will be on the Blue Squad, which will be fun! They will be playing with other top football players from all classes and regions of Illinois on June 21st, 2025 at Illinois Wesleyen University and getting the chance to help support the great work of the Shriners Hospitals in Illinois. Lady Redskins get a win this morning over Mattoon, 48-34! Aeralyn Thrasher leads all scorers with 21 points!
They play their final game in the tournament at 4:30 today in Charleston against Effingham
Both Boys and Girls Basketball teams went 1-1 yesterday in pool play. Today, the girls play a crossover against Mattoon at 11:30 am with a final game at 4:30 and the boys play for 3rd place against South Central at 4:00
For those who can't make the trips to the basketball tournaments, the girls (Mattoon) and boys (Dieterich) games are available via the Hudl Fan App and HudlTV!
The Redskins are 2-0 thusfar at the Dieterich Tournament, with a win over Red Hill last night and a 85-24 win over Ramsey this morning!
