Congratulations to the SES October Perfect Attendance recipients. There were 170 students who were recognized.
Thank you to Chris Ozier with Cummins out of Bloomington for the donation of six bicycles. Students who attended Haunted Hallways were able to put their name in a raffle drawing for a new bike, helmet and bike lock.

On Friday, third grade traveled to Southfork Homestead Pumpkin Patch. The students had so much fun. Thank you to all of the wonderful chaperones for your help! In addition, we would like to thank SES PTO for providing the opportunity for these students to have such an amazing day!
The 4th grade girls and boys basketball teams scrimmaged each other after school yesterday. They all worked hard and used great sportsmanship 💪🏼
Schedule Update (11/6): The originally scheduled 5/6 Boys Basketball game vs Mattoon on November 6th has been rescheduled. The new date will be Monday, November 25th starting at 6 PM in the SHS Gym.

Parking information:
There is limited paved parking space in the parking lot at Parkside Junior High School. The majority of the parking will be available in the paved lot north of Maxwell Park across Gregory Street near Champion Fields. There will also be grass parking available in that area. Please encourage parents to use the Champion Field lots.
a. Parking is also available in the Normal West High School parking lots. Limited parking is available on the streets surrounding Maxwell Park and Parkside Junior High School. Please refer to posted street signs. The Town of Normal police will ticket cars that are illegally parked.

Thank you Liberty and Elite Structures for the donation of a shed at SES. We LOVE it! The shed will be used for storing preschool trikes and other outdoor play equipment for our littlest learners.

**Spectators are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 for the event as it is a busy day in the park with a parade also occurring. If they do not arrive by this time, they may not get into the park. Spectators will be able to park in the parking lot immediately to the right when they enter the park at the baseball diamonds or at the pool parking lot. Signs will be posted. **
Schedule Update (10/16): Next Wednesday's 5th and 6th Grade Girls Basketball game @ Mattoon Middle School start time has been pushed up to 5:00 PM for 5th grade game, followed by the 6th grade game. Bus departure time is now 4 PM. #OneTribe

2nd grade reads the book, The Wild Robot each year. This year, with the movie coming out, they got to go see their favorite characters come to life at the movie theater.
Last week, Mrs. Becker's class had so much fun at the apple orchard. A huge thank you to our PTO for making this happen !
